Not just Tulips, we’re taking a trip to Henry Ford’s Greenfield Village in Dearborn Michigan. You know you can’t always count on the tulips to be perfect. Come back here to see if this is the best year ever.

We had a nice day today driving to Dearborn and back. At the Ford F-150 Pickup factory it is an amazing sight watching a new pickup coming off the line, one almost every minute. At the Greenfield Village and the the Henry Ford Museum there was more than enough things to see and do for the rest of the day. Model T rides, a steam locomotive and horse drawn wagons and cars galore. Tonight we’re back at the Fairfield Inn.

It’s Tulip Time in Holland. It’s cool, good for tulips in the 50’s today warming up to mid 60’s in the sun. Our first stop is at Windmill Island. The Dutch windmill was brought over from the Netherlands 250 years ago. Tulip fields surround the mill along with shopping at the shops. Next, a drive down the tulip lanes stopping for lunch ending at the Veldheer Tulip Farm. Over 5 million flowers, some are waning and others look just fine. Tonight we stay at the all suite hotel Home 2 Home in Holland. This evening we had some awesome entertainment provided by the Texas Tenors.
