On our Smoky Mountain Tour not only will we see shows and visit Dollywood, we’re driving to Asheville NC to tour the Biltmore Estate. Check back here for photos of what is sure to be a wonderful vacation. Next year we are going on October 20-25, 2024 Trips fill up early.

October 22, 2023 Sunday, – a nice sunny day warming up into the low 60’s. We had lunch at the Belvidere Oasis in the Chicago area with our lodging at the Comfort Inn in Edinburgh Indiana.
October 23, 2023 Monday-A sunny beautiful fall foliage trip through Kentucky and onto Pigeon Forge. There are so many tourist attractions in this town to visit. Tonight we had a dinner show at the Hatfields and Mc Coys. We’re staying three nights in Pigeon Forge at the Inn on the River. Conveniently located next to the Incredible Christmas store.
October 24, 2023 Tuesday-Sunny and 70 all day today. The drive through the mountains and the Smoky National Park provided some great photos. The Biltmore house was busy and they are decorating for Christmas. It was a nice surprise to see the Christmas trees throughout the house. Tonight we will have dinner at the Wood Grill Buffet and then attend the show, Country Tonite.
October 25, 2023 Wednesday- Another sunny day in the mid 70’s. The day was spent at Dollywood during their annual Harvest Festival. Fall decorations throughout the park with music and rides. We offered multiple shuttles from our hotel throughout the day so many of our guests went back to the hotel for a rest and returned after dark to see the lights.
October 26, 2023 Thursday-A travel day with a unique stop for our afternoon break. Zaharakos Ice Cream Parlor in Columbus Indiana hosted a sundae buffet. Since 1900 they have made homemade ice cream and some of their original soda equipment is on display. They have automated orchestra machines playing while enjoyed our ice cream. It was a great stop. Tonight we stay at the Drury Inn in Lafayette Indiana- another great stop.
October 27, 2023 Friday-Our last day and we suffered temperature shock. After days in the 70’s, we’re back home to chilly temperatures and wind wanting to go back south.
