May 19, 2019- Sunday, It was rainy off and on during the day. Lots to do on the bus preparing for our adventure into New York City. A good way to pass the time. Tonight we’ll stay in Maumee Ohio  at the Hampton Inn and make our signs for our upcoming appearance at the Today Show. Tune in Wednesday morning at 7:15 AM Central until 8:30 AM

May 20, 2019 Monday- Another big travel day with a shopping stop in the afternoon. Tonight we’re just 20 miles from New York City.

May 21, 2019 – Tuesday, What a full day of touring New York City. First off it was perfect weather wise- sunny, mid 70’s but breezy all day. We arrived and picked up our local guide for a walk through Central Park, onto John Lennons tribute. Past the Lincoln Center and down 5th Avenue for lunch at Grand Central Station. On the way many more sights, a movie being filmed and contstuction everywhere. We had a walk down Wall Street to the 911 Memorial then onto the subway to our hotel in Times Square. Tonight we’ll see Frozen- Disneys latest musical.

May 22, 2019 – Wednesday -Fantastic weather and so much to see. A small group started early at the Fox News Channel and we were the only ones there. After we helped with the weather, the host-Janice Dean posed for selfies. At 8:00 AM the entire group went to the Today Show with our signs and many of us also made it on TV.  Next, Top of the Rock for views of the Empire State Building, Central Park and surrounding area. Such clear skies. Next a chance to see the St. Patricks Cathedral, then our guided tour of Radio City Music Hall. Done by noon, now it’s time to walk about and take pictures, see another Broadway Shows and just view a wide variety of sights in the city.

May 23, 2019 – Thursday-It  started out this morning with a light rain as we left the hotel to tour the 911 Museum. Being inside helped and soon we were on our way to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. The rain stopped and that was good for some outdoor photos. The new museum on Liberty Island just opened last week and there is a lot more displays than before. Ellis Island was our last stop and soon we were on the road heading towards our hotel.

May 24, 2019 – Friday Today we’re making our way home stopping this afternoon for a break at the Quarry Hill Winery. A good stop for cheese, crackers and wine samples. Tonight we’ll have a group meal at our hotel. Tomorrow we’ll arrive home.

May 25, 2019 – Saturday Our last day started out sunny through Chicago, then rain as we continued north. We’re having lunch in Janesville and hopefully by the time we get home the rain will end and the skies will be clear.
