Departure date: 05/10/2023 —Our trip to Holland will see more than just Tulips, we’re spending an extra day in the Detroit area at Henry Ford’s Greenfield Village, Museum and the Ford F-150 factory Tour.

May 10, 2023 Wednesday- Another trip through Chicago this week on our way to a different destination, Holland and Dearborn Michigan. Sunny all day and we hit 80 degrees. We are staying two nights at the Hampton Inn in Battle Creek
May 11, 2023 Thursday- A beautiful sunny day. We drove to Dearborn to watch Ford F-150 pickup trucks being built. A completed truck comes off the line every 53 seconds-that’s amazing sight to see, they just keep coming. The rest of our day was at Henry Ford’s Greenfield Village and Museum. At the village you can ride the train, original Model T’s and visit the historical buildings. At the museum, trains, planes, household furnishings and of course cars, cars, cars.
May 12, 2023 Friday-The tulips were beautiful. The end of the blooming time is fast approaching. We did see thousands of flowers at the Windmill Island, The tulip lanes along the street and over 5 million planted at the Veldheer Tulip Farm. Tonight we attend the concert by Country Superstar Sara Evans
May 13, 2023 Saturday-Our last day is a travel day and everyone should be home on time or early. We enjoyed such good weather, lots of tulips an a fun filled day at the Henry Ford Complex in Dearborn Michigan.
